Business Opportunity

Following validation and a basic data integrity review using the export JSON views, a number of minor corrections and enhancements have been applied to the Business Opportunity view suite.

  • Improved handling of Won/Lost Reason descriptions to safely support special characters and JSON formatting.
  • This change improves data reliability and reduces the risk of downstream processing issues.

  • Added Currency Code attribute to support enhanced currency reporting and analysis.

  • Reinstated the ENETRED date attribute alongside ENTERED.
  • This change preserves backward compatibility with existing reports while supporting the transition to the corrected ENTERED attribute.
  • ENETRED is now marked for future retirement.

Customer

  • Updated customer source logic to use DIM_CUSTOMER_OL.
  • Validation identified that COMPANY_CUSTOMER records are only created following invoicing activity, resulting in approximately 33% of customer names and codes being unavailable.
  • This change improves customer coverage and completeness across reporting.

  • Future enhancements remain possible should a more controlled identity model be required.
